Supporting nonviolent resistance movements in Europe

Our Vision

Autoritarianism is on the rise. Democratic values are increasingly under threat. Political leaders claim we need to prepare for war. But this is not the only way.

Nonviolent resistance offers a powerful alternative to bring on long-lasting democratic change. Now is the time to strengthen our commitment to peace. Join us in building networks that make nonviolent resistance possible

What we do

By bringing together scholars, practitioners, and activists, we bridge the gap between research on and practice of nonviolent resistance. Through our European network, we aim to deepen understanding, build capacity, and offer strategic support to movements confronting oppression, injustice and authoritarianism.

What we stand for

Nonviolent resistance is not only a method - it is a vision for a more just, participatory, and resilient Europe. Currently, the foundations of democracy, justice, and human rights in Europe are under threat. Nonviolent resistance has been proven to be incredibly successful in garnering democratic change. Through this network, we support those who take a stand without violence and help ensure their efforts are studied and sustained.
